About Thrive Therapeutic Services
At Thrive Therapeutic Services, we see therapy as a collaborative process, and you as a whole, resilient human. We’re here, not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, offering straightforward guidance, brain-based care, and a deep respect for your unique story.
We’re more than a therapy practice. We’re curious, compassionate, and scrappy kindred spirits who help individuals, couples, and families navigate the valleys and peaks of life with curiosity, compassion and honesty.
Our Approach
We work to uncover the underlying causes of the patterns that can wreak havoc and create emotional distress in our lives, by understanding the brain-body connection. That means we don’t chase symptoms—we get to the root of what’s happening.
We understand how your nervous system, trauma history, relationships, and life experience shape the way you show up in the world. We don’t put you in a box—we build the work around you. Each client receives personalized support, because we know there’s no one-size-fits-all model for healing.
Here’s what guides our work:
- Holistic: We work with the whole person—mind, body, relationships, and history—not just the current context.
- Solution-focused: We get to the root of the issue and build sustainable tools toward real, lasting change.
- Brain-based: We understand how trauma, stress, and neurodiversity shape behavior—and use tools that work with your brain, not against it.
- Client-centered: We meet you where you are and build therapy around your needs.
- Open-minded: Come as you are; we meet you with compassion and respect.
- Compassionate: We offer honest, supportive guidance while maintaining responsible boundaries.
- Collaborative: We work in partnership with you; we walk alongside you, not in front of you.
- Culturally responsive: Your identity, culture, beliefs, and values as integral to meaningful therapeutic work.
We offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities, from traditional talk therapy to creative and somatic approaches, including play therapy, movement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness practices. (For a full list, see our FAQ.)
Our team values ongoing learning and development, and we continuously explore new tools to best serve our diverse community of clients, including children, teens, adults, and couples.

What Our Clients Say
I felt in every session."
It didn’t just save my mental health—it gave me my life back."
What We Believe
Centering Inclusivity, Access, and Advocacy
We believe therapy should be accessible and inclusive. That’s why we work with a variety of insurance plans, and are always willing to connect clients with the best-fit care—even if that means referring them outside our practice. Our clinicians are especially passionate about serving folks who often feel unseen or misunderstood in traditional therapy settings, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals, those living with trauma or chronic health conditions, and families navigating parenting, neurodiversity, and life transitions.
Above all, we see therapy as a collaboration: one rooted in trust, honesty and mutual growth. We’re here to help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with your inner resources—because all that you need to heal is already within you.

Our Core Drivers
An Open Mind,
which starts with curiosity, not judgment.
Context Matters.
Your identity and lived experience matter.
Compassion over Empathy.
Your experiences are uniquely yours; it would be presumptuous and even unhelpful to claim we “know how you feel.”
Resilience.
You’ve already survived a lot, and we respect that.
Transparency.
Give it to people straight, don’t sugar-coat.
Advocacy.
Everyone deserves someone in their corner.
Community
is a healing force. Therapy builds our competence and confidence in the relationships that build community.
